A finished competition you can read end to end.
Rather than describe what StepRank does, here is an event that ran through it. Forty dancers entered, a panel of five scored three rounds, and six couples reached the final. Every number on these pages was calculated by the software, not written by hand.
The dancers, the judges and the scores are invented, and the event is labelled as a demo wherever it appears. Nothing else about it is simulated.

The judges
Your panel scores from the floor.
Each judge opens a link, enters an access code, and sees one list: who is up, who they have already scored, and who is still waiting. No app to install and no training session on the morning of your event.
In this event five judges scored every dancer on four weighted criteria. Judges lock a round when they are done, and until they do, nothing is final.
The organizer
You decide what the room gets to see.
Rankings recalculate as scores land, but nothing reaches the public until you release it, round by round. Results only, or full results with every figure, and each judge's marks only if you choose to show them.
This event was released three different ways on purpose: the preliminary shows results only, the semi-final opens all the way down to each judge's marks, and the final shows full results without them. Switch round tabs on the results page to see the difference.
